Privacy Policy — BenitoCoin

      Short version: BenitoCoin collects no personal data. Everything stays on your device. When iCloud sync launches, it will use your private iCloud account — ArcAvance will still receive nothing.
    

1. Who We Are

BenitoCoin is developed and published by ArcAvance. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

BenitoCoin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to ArcAvance or any third party. Specifically, we do not collect:

Your name, email address, or any contact information
Financial account numbers, balances, or transaction details
Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
Usage statistics, analytics, or crash reports sent to us
Any data for advertising or tracking purposes

3. How Your Data Is Stored — Local Storage

All data you enter — accounts, transactions, categories, budgets — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device through the app in the current version.

4. iCloud Sync (Coming Soon)

Future feature — not yet available: A future version of BenitoCoin will offer optional iCloud sync to keep your data in sync across your Apple devices.

When iCloud sync is introduced:

It will be opt-in — you choose whether to enable it.
Your data will be stored in your personal iCloud account, not on ArcAvance servers.
ArcAvance will have no access to any data stored in your iCloud.
iCloud sync will be governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you currently have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, iOS may already back up BenitoCoin's local data as part of your device backup. This is an iOS feature outside our control and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours.

5. Camera and Photo Library

BenitoCoin may request access to your camera and photo library so you can attach receipt photos or images to transactions. These images are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to any server.

6. Exchange Rate API

To display recent currency exchange rates, BenitoCoin contacts open.er-api.com. This request retrieves publicly available exchange rate data. No user data is included in or attached to this request — it is a plain, anonymous HTTP GET with no identifiers or personal information of any kind.

7. In-App Purchases

BenitoCoin offers a Pro subscription via Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. ArcAvance does not receive your payment details, Apple ID, or any personal information related to purchases. Subscription management is done through your Apple ID settings.

8. No Tracking or Advertising

BenitoCoin contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks. The app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares: NSPrivacyTracking = false and no data types are collected or transmitted to us.

9. Children's Privacy

BenitoCoin does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since no personal data is collected by ArcAvance at all, there is no special risk to children's privacy from use of this app.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy (for example, when iCloud sync launches), the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. We recommend checking periodically. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
